Meridian Terms of Service

Last updated: April 2026

About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Meridian platform at meridian.praxu.net, owned and operated by Praxu Digital (ABN 42 517 459 323), Perth, Western Australia. By creating an account you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. Questions about these terms can be directed to [email protected].

What Meridian is

Meridian is a structured maturity assessment tool. It helps organisations assess their current practice against a published framework, optionally validate that assessment against uploaded evidence documents, and generate a report summarising their findings.

Meridian is not a professional advisory service. It does not provide legal, compliance, governance, or strategic advice. The output of any assessment, report, or AI analysis is provided as a structured guide to support your own thinking and decision-making, not as a substitute for professional judgement.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must not share your login with others. Each person who uses Meridian should have their own account.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account. You must not create accounts for the purpose of misrepresenting your organisation or impersonating another person or entity.

You may delete your account at any time from your profile page. When you delete your account your personal data and all data associated with your organisation is permanently removed from our systems if you are the last member of your organisation.

Your organisation

When you create an organisation on Meridian you are the administrator of that organisation. You are responsible for the users you invite, the assessments your organisation conducts, and the documents your organisation uploads.

You must not upload documents that you do not have the right to upload. You must not upload documents containing personal information about individuals without appropriate authorisation.

AI-generated content

Meridian uses artificial intelligence in two ways: to validate uploaded evidence against rubric level descriptors, and to generate rubric structures from uploaded framework documents.

AI-generated content is provided as a guide only. It may contain errors, omissions, or misinterpretations of source material. You are responsible for reviewing all AI-generated output before relying on it for any purpose including governance, compliance, board reporting, or strategic planning.

Meridian does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated rubric or evidence validation result. A rubric generated from a framework document should be reviewed by a person familiar with that framework before it is used in a formal assessment process.

Your AI provider key is used solely to make API calls on your behalf. You are responsible for your own agreement with Anthropic or OpenAI and any costs incurred through your use of their APIs via Meridian.

Free and premium tiers

The free tier of Meridian is available at no cost and includes self-assessment, evidence upload, AI evidence validation using your own provider key, and PDF report export.

The premium tier adds the ability to generate custom rubrics from uploaded framework documents. Premium access is granted on a subscription basis at the rates published on the Meridian website. Premium subscriptions are managed manually. To upgrade contact [email protected].

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price change takes effect.

Your content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to Meridian including evidence documents, assessment notes, and generated rubrics. You grant Meridian a limited licence to store and process that content for the purpose of providing the platform to you. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

When you delete your account or your organisation's data, your content is permanently removed from our systems.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Meridian available but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, modify, or discontinue features of the platform at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Meridian's liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the platform is limited to the total amount you have paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. For free tier users this limit is zero.

Meridian is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss including loss of data, loss of revenue, or reputational damage arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any output it produces.

Nothing in these terms excludes any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded by agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Any dispute arising from these terms will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
